Project Boost’s latest online matchmaking event, held on April 16th, proved to be a resounding success. The event brought together a diverse group of over 85 organizations from 15 European countries, spanning a remarkable 25 business and public sectors. With more than 60 participants actively engaged in the online session, the atmosphere buzzed with the potential for collaboration.

The event kicked off with introductions from the BOOST partners themselves. They provided valuable insights into their organizations’ expertise and areas of focus, laying the groundwork for participants to understand the vast pool of skills and resources present. Following these introductions, attendees gained valuable knowledge from presentations by Mihai Pop (Transilvania IT Cluster) and Ioana Dragos (North West Regional Development Agency in Romania). Their presentations focused on upcoming funding opportunities available through the Horizon Europe and I3 programs.

  • MASTER – enhances robotics training in manufacturing with its open XR platform. It integrates key functionalities, creating safe and flexible robotic environments with advanced interaction mechanisms. The project delivers rich training content and invites third-party contributions through two Open Calls. Deadline:  31/05/2024
  • Robotics and other automated solutions for construction, renovation and maintenance in a sustainable built environment (HORIZON-CL5-2024-D4-02-02). Scope: development of robotic and automated solutions to support sustainable building construction, renovation and maintenance processes that are less disruptive, cleaner and faster. Deadline: 21/01/2025
  • Expanding Academia-Enterprise Collaborations: foster the creation of innovation ecosystems with educational and research institutions, or strengthen their existing links. Deadline: 19/09/2024
  • ERA Talents. WIDERA HORIZON-WIDERA-2024-TALENTS-03-01: Boost interoperability of careers and employability of research and innovation talents across sectors. Innovative inter-sectoral collaboration in research and innovation through cross-sectoral exchange of staff Joint training and mobility methodology Mutual learning exercises
  • EUREKA Network: The project idea must represent international cooperation in the form of a specific project – must include at least 2 independent legal entities from at least 2 Eureka countries. Deadline: 31/12/2025

The next part of the event showcased 10 organizations from the Industry 4.0 sector. They delivered concise introductions that highlighted their strengths and potential areas for collaboration. This provided an invaluable platform for participants to discover synergies and spark discussions about future joint endeavors.

The momentum generated by the event has demonstrably extended beyond its conclusion. Until April 26th, participants have the exclusive opportunity to schedule one-on-one meetings through the designated b2match platform. These dedicated virtual spaces have already seen impressive utilization, with over 100 meetings booked between various organizations. These in-depth conversations are facilitating the exploration of potential partnerships and solidifying plans for collaborative projects.
