The Bulgarian business forums hosted the third consortium meeting among the BOOST project partners in the city of Varna, Bulgaria, which occurred on July 4th and 5th.

During the initial day of the meeting, the partners delved into the discussion regarding the report on the present state of interregional collaboration among them, specifically focusing on activity 2.3 of the project. The Transilvania IT Cluster presented the interim report covering the period from Month 1 to Month 12, while the engagement status with local and regional representatives of the innovation ecosystem was assessed for each partner.

Following the successful completion of the scheduled work activities on Day 1, the meeting progressed into a networking event. This gathering witnessed the participation of over 20 innovation researchers hailing from both the city of Varna and the surrounding region. The Bulgarian Business Forums team took the stage and showcased the possibilities for European cooperation within the context of the BOOST project. They also highlighted the subsequent prospects for involving the stakeholders in various engagements.

The networking event witnessed the presence of distinguished representatives from various organizations and innovative startups. Among them were ICT Cluster Varna, Marine Cluster Bulgaria, Regional Agency for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Varna Chamber of Commerce and Industry, BioMed-Varna Foundation, UEVA Business Accelerator of IU – Varna, alongside other local organizations.

On the second day of the meeting, the project’s upcoming tasks were carefully planned and deliberated upon. The sessions commenced with the presentation of the Report on communication and dissemination of results from the past 12 months, led by the Bulgarian Business Forums. Additionally, discussions were held regarding future communication activities for the following six months within the project. 

Towards the conclusion of the work process, various topics were addressed, including ongoing tasks, achieved results, and additional information pertaining to the Innovation Camp scheduled to take place in Cluj-Napoca from October 13th to 15th of this year.
