Peacocks of Finningley

Fantastic venue for our Christening (photo is of the venue tidied up). Sandy & her staff are amazing & worked with us to get the room & the softplay sorted & in the right place. The venue is perfect for these types of events & would be lovely for a wedding reception. The food was great too. Can’t wait to visit again, thanks!!

Ever since 'Peacocks of Finningley' opened at the Harvey Arms, we knew we wanted to get married there. We didn't even look anywhere else. A lovely pub in a beautiful village - we were excited a the thought of getting married here one day. The venue is local to us, just 2.5 miles away from our home. We booked the venue two years ago and got married on 24th May 2025. Becky was our wedding coordinator. Wow! Our special day was perfect. From the start Becky was so helpful. Our wedding day ran smoothly. The venue was stunning. Everyone commented on this and everyone mentioned how good the food was. The evening buffet in particular was delicious. Overall the venue was perfect for us, a rustic barn. I cannot thank Becky and the staff enough for looking after us on the our wedding day. Sophie & Jack x

A massive thankyou to Becky, Sandy and the whole team for making our wedding day special, everything went according to plan, the food was delicious, the venue perfect, and the weather couldn't have been better. Becky did a brilliant job of making sure that everyone was where they should be, and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks to Jackie too for the beautiful decorations. Peacocks was opened by the Harvey Arms for those just wanting a festive drink on Christmas Day. There was a great turn out, making for a warm friendly atmosphere. The guys behind the bar were brilliant as always. The main pub was set aside for those eating their Christmas dinner so it worked out really well. Full marks to Sandie, Warren, Chris and the team.

Held our sons Christening at Peacocks and it was lovely, with lots of praise from our guests. We weren't sure what to expect so hadn't planned lots of decorations but did not need to worry, the room alone is stunning! We had the traditional buffet which was delicious. The staff were fabulous and communicated with us about what we needed and wanted throughout. Thank you for taking away the stress and leaving us with some wonderful memories.

We chose Peacocks of Finningley as our wedding venue as we both fell in love with this beautiful rustic barn. The venue was styled just how we had planned it by White Rose Occasions whom work closely with the superb team at Peacocks. Our 3 course wedding breakfast was outstanding , it was freshly prepared, arrived at the table hot and the portions where plentiful. Our 80 day guests all agreed how lovely the venue and food was , which is a great credit the the chefs, waiters and waitresses whom worked so hard on the day to make it perfect. A bbq for 120 evening guests was delicious and again lots of choice. We had our own choice of DJ ( cos we think he's great ) and since our wedding I understand he's had lots of bookings at the lovely venue. To sum up We would choose this venue again in a heartbeat as the whole team made our day so very special. Ring Sandy and have a chat you won't be disappointed

What a special venue! I was fortunate enough to work at Peacocks of Finningley, as a wedding celebrant for a very cool, laid-back couple. This place suited them down to the ground. Sandy and her team are professional and friendly, they really know what they're doing. They've created a very special atmosphere, perfect for weddings. I hope to be back soon!

Had my sister surprise 30th birthday party here! Such a beautiful venue! Everyone commented on hour beautiful it was! The food was lovely as well and very accommodating to dietary requirements! The bar staff were extremely helpful welcoming & very friendly! Thank you! And thank you for helping making her Birthday extra special ❤️
