Thompson Family Dentistry

I had my first cleaning appointment with Mel today at Thompson Family Dentistry. What a joy! Everyone, from the moment you walk into the door throughout your whole experience, is kind, warm, professional, and incredibly good at their jobs. I have never looked forward to seeing the dentist -- until I started coming here. Mel was gentle, thorough, patient with my need for breaks, and kept me informed as to what was happening, how my teeth and gums looked, and where we were in the process. She was a deligh! An absolute professional. I am so grateful. Thank you to Mel and to the whole team!

Thompson Family Dentistry has been incredible with us. They are kind, courteous, and always helpful when we need. They make us feel comfortable and always able to fit us in as soon as possible when needed at the last minute. They go above and beyond to make our visits the best! We love the atmosphere and family expierence, we wouldn't go anywhere else.

4/10/25 Update: Dr. Thompson did call and offered a a solution for the difference in pay. We were reimbursed for the difference in pay that we paid extra from the day of the appointment and the bill they sent after. They are still OON and our insurance does not reimburse much for OON providers. Giving 2 stars because Dr. Thompson is nice, but the front desk does not inform patients on their insurance policy. When I made the appointment, they took my insurance down and said they accepted it, and then at the time of the appointment we were given a statement to pay what insurance didn't, so we paid at the appointment. A few months later we get a large bill and I called and was informed Thompson Family Dentistry is OON for all insurance carriers. Instead of explaining that at the time I booked the appointment, they just said they accept the insurance without saying they were OON. Because they are OON, our insurance covered bare minimum. We've never had a bill so high for a dentist ever, and we would have been better off going somewhere paying out of pocket without insurance. Also, they record calls but do not tell you they are doing that. I wouldn't recommend this place because of the lack of transparency they give to their patients.

As usual, Colleen did an awesome professional job! I will miss her so much when she moves! Best wishes to her! I know the practice will miss her as well! Kudos to everyone!

A problem arose with one of my teeth. They were able to get me right away to assess the issue and provide a diagnosis. Great care.

The employees and coworkers of Dr. Thompson always seem as if they are happy with their work environment, therefore, they pass that happiness on to the patients. I also respect that there is zero high pressure salesmanship. I also feel informed for any procedures that are needed.

Very friendly, efficient, good dental office. The hygenist was very skilled and gentle. Dr Thompson provided a great exam. I’m very happy with my dental home! Thanks Thompson Family Dentistry!

Dr. Thompson is an excellent dentist in so many ways, from her knowledge to her compassionate manner.. I’m so impressed with how thorough she was to get answers for my dental issue. I would highly recommend her anyone!!
