Harbor freight has been a great addition to rapid city. We find lots of good deals on tools here. Their icon line of hand tools are very nice. Their lifetime warranty and they exchange them with no questions asked. We buy sand paper and ratchet straps, bungee cords, tarps anything along those lines from this store. It's dramatically cheaper than irregular hardware store. Some of the impact tools are pretty nice, But we haven't tried any of the electric tools. My husband's a big Dewalt fan so we only buy that stuff. The staff is friendly,but sometimes it's a little understaffed in the lines can be kind of long so be prepared for that.

I just had a foot surgery and showed up looking for a fire safe which was bigger and heavier than I expected. The first person I found in the store was a manager, but he still helped me though my whole purchase. He got a cart, wheeled my purchases, and even loaded the safe into my car for me.

The employee closing tonight decided he no longer wanted to work. He locked the front door at 745 and turned away at least 2 customers trying to come in around that time. Apparently, Harbor Freight doesn't need to honor listed store hours.

Store is clean, easy parking, helpful staff. Harbor Freight is always our first stop before we start projects. Tools are budget able and perfect for our needs.

Alwsys a bargain to be found. Staff are friendly and always there to help find what your looking for. I found and outstanding deal on a GREAT Tool storage cabinet. The Quality is OUTSTANDING, very heavy duty, drawers slide nice and have a latch to lock, very large heavy duty casters, with a good barrel lock!!

They have a lot but quality is very questionable. Yet 9 out of 10 times, what I need is not here either. So back to Amazon and wait a week.

Would give zero stars if could. Their customer service sucks big time. Staff is lazy. Acts like it's a bother to assist you. Employee named Josh was horribly rude and would not help me locate something. A complete stranger in the store assisted me. Hire people who care. I will go out of my way not to spend money here.

Great place to shop for tools and lots of other things. Just beware that if you go onto their web site to check if they have something in stock before you drive 2 hrs they might not. But on the other hand if you get there and they say they don’t they just might have two of them in back. Inventory system not great. But still an excellent place to shop.

Needed the heavy duty motorcycle wheel chock. Found one in stock and picked it up along with a few other tools. Love this place!

Check out person was super friendly and helpful but the store manager couldn't be bothered opening the other check out lane even though he and other store employees were standing there looking at the long line.
