Just want to add to what everyone else has said. We camped on the camping site for 10 days in a trailer tent. Hosts were very helpful. Got to see the alpaca and the Harrier! - View across the levels to Glastonbury are awesome. Free hot water in the showers was always welcome after a long day. 10/10 will come again if in the area..

On our journey back from Polzeath, Due to traffic we decided to pull off the M5, stopped googled the best sites in the area and Castle farm popped up. I called and the owner Niel welcomed us to stay. We made our way to the campsite across the moors we stayed on a hard standing pitch with electric and all the eminaties including toilates showers and wash area with a fridge freezer if required. We had a gorgeous view over the countryside but the surprise was waiting for us the next morning when we are invited to see an amazing peice of aviation history. A sea plane fighter jet from the Falklands conflicts plus other artifacts so amazing to see thank you soo much to Niel, his wife and little Rex for showing us around it was truly amazing. |We were in a motorhome but there were some very luxurious cabins avsilable on site too. We had a fabulous stay and we would definatly stay again Thank you Mandie and Paul 😊

Absolutely stunning, luxurious lodge, finished to a very high spec and included lots of lovely little extra touches for our stay. We very much enjoyed the hot tub and having the resident alpacas come say hi each day. Such lovely hosts who really go the extra mile, inviting our children to see their plane and being so helpful when we had car trouble.||We will undoubtedly be back! Thank you so much Jo and Neil x

As soon as we turned the corner onto the site. WOW!!! Such a beautiful view. Any photos don't do the real thing any justice . Mornings across the fields are spectacular. The night sky is awesome. We saw so many shooting stars we lost count. Never see that in london. | The grandkids loved the animals so much .the hosts were friendly and warm. The house was perfect for our needs. Cosy comfy relaxing. The beds were really comfortable . Our granddaughter did not get on with her mattress. But it was no trouble at all. A different one was bought over for her. | A great base to explore the area ,fantastic walks climbing .beautiful beaches. We would return in a heartbeat. Jeffrey the Alpaca was so cute. The grandkids loved him.We saw deer most days. Periguine falcons every day .Beautiful sunrises. We stayed in starling lodge..

Great campsite , amazing views , amenities clean and well serviced. Such a great weekend had by us and another family. Very dog friendly , miniature horses and Alpacas love being fed fresh grass....10am Sunday morning we had a great chance to walk around and sit in the owners sea harrier which my youngest absolutely loved ! This beats any commercially owned campsite....camping how it should be ! Thank you for providing such a natural environment. Highly recommended!
